Stephanie Agee serves as both Senior Vice President of International Trade and VEDP’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). In these roles she provides leadership and oversight of programs designed to support Virginia companies in growing their international sales, and oversees the agency’s human resources, information technology, and fiscal and support services.
Stephanie leads VEDP’s International Trade team, responsible for delivering programs and resources to assist Virginia companies with growing their international sales and improving management of their international supply chains. These resources are available to Virginia companies who are or want to be doing business internationally. Stephanie has 18+ years’ experience in international trade and implementing state-led export development programs. She has served in multiple roles within the VEDP International Trade team, including as manager of the award-winning Virginia Leaders in Export Trade Program, and led marketing and development activities at the Virginia Department of Agriculture. In all of these positions, she worked with Virginia companies to develop and implement international sales strategies, identify and access target export markets, and provide counsel on specific international business issues.
Stephanie has a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science from Virginia Tech.
